Coolant Flush

As a part of your routine maintenance, a coolant flush helps your cooling system regulate the temperature of the engine and helps prevent your vehicle from overheating.
 

What’s included in a coolant flush? As a part of this service, AAA Car Care Center ASE certified technicians will:

  • Perform power flush
  • Refill with up to 2 gallons of MaxLife™ antifreeze
  • Perform inspection of belts and hoses

When properly mixed, antifreeze and water provide excellent anti-freeze, anti-boil and anticorrosive properties. All coolants must be diluted with water at the proper ratios and should not be used full-strength. Full-strength antifreeze actually has a lower freeze point than when mixed with water. Check your owner’s manual for your manufacturer’s suggested intervals for coolant flushes and antifreeze usage specifications.
