      • I am writing to you to commend your team member, Shawn Harris. Recently, my wife and I had the pleasure of working with Shawn as we were shopping for a 2009 used Honda Pilot. To give you a bit of background, my wife and I had driven to Charlotte from Washington, NC on a Saturday to test drive a car at a local dealership. After test driving the car my wife and I went through the normal “haggle” that is associated with the typical car dealership experience. We had received an offer and had all but signed the paperwork when we decided to think about it and look a few more cars. Our next, and subsequently last, stop was to your Auto Sales office. After talking to Shawn and learning exactly how the AAA Auto Sales team works with the customer to find his or her car, needless to say we decided not to return to the car dealership to complete the paperwork. However, this was only the beginning of our experience with Shawn. After letting him know what type of car we were looking for, we made the 5 hour return to Washington, NC. Once at home, we decided to look online at several cars we were interested in and sent on our “wishlist” to Shawn. Shawn tirelessly contacted each dealership to inquire about the desired car as well as search on his own. Throughout this entire process, Shawn kept us well informed and helped us make a decision that we were truly happy with. We found Shawn to be an extremely engaging and honest individual. His tireless work ethic and constant attention to our whishes was truly contrariant to every other car buying experience we've ever had. Needless to say, we’re customers for life!       • Everything You Could Ask For in a Car Shopping Experience
      • We purchased a car for our son on February 4, 2011 at the Charlotte, NC office. Jesus Ramirez was our sales representative. Recently, our son was in a very serious automobile accident. I was very undecided and fretful about the whole process of purchasing a car for him. Jesus made the experience very smooth for us. He seemed to sense my anxiety, and his laid back, low-key personality really helped. We were given a generous test drive in both a residential area and a busy main thoroughfare. He was able to answer all our questions, and he had a very good humor during the entire time we were with him. Going back to his office area to discuss the car was much more preferable than trying to make a decision in a dealer showroom. I feel like it was easier to think and talk, and it felt more like a business transaction than a circus. There weren’t balloons tied to everything, there were no salepeople running around everywhere, and we weren’t left hanging around for long periods of time while some sales manager tried to dicker with us. The AAA first year maintenance package is very nice. It isn’t the reason we bought the car, but it is certainly a nice bonus! JR talked to us about AAA membership and benefits, but at no time was he push. I would actually consider AAA for us or a family member because he didn’t turn me off with a hard sell. It was rainy and cold; we had looked at cars the entire day. By the time we arrived at AAA, I was exhausted and pretty miserable. I am so grateful for JR’s attitude and his people skills. We were able to leave with a car and I didn’t feel ripped off or raked over the coals by the experience. I will tell my friends about working with JR, and I will recommend him to them when they are car shopping. I would definitely buy a car from him again.

      • I recently bought a car through AAA Car Sales after driving, and loving driving, the same car for the past ten years. I am writing today to share how happy I was with my experience working with AAA Car Sales and my contact, Jesus “J.R.” Ramirez. I had delayed replacing my car for three years because I knew it would be hard for me to find a car I liked as well as the one I had, that buying a car is a painful process and I enjoyed not having a car payment.
